Pinot Gris
Given the generosity of fruit and palate weight from McLaren Vale, Pinot Gris was the style and hence the name that won!
Tasting Notes; The colour is a mid to light straw with youthful green hues. Initially, a note of spice opens the aroma, followed by Nashi Pear and Granny Smith apple. Citrus blossom and white nectarine characters build with time in the glass. The palate begins with an almost luscious apple and citrus fruit flavour, which then rolls to the side revealing a citrus zest and stone fruit mid palate texture. Pear skin and savoury spice combine with refreshing acidity to a food-friendly finish.
